I came home from teaching summer school and was rummaging through the kitchen for something yummy for lunch. I came across some imitation crabmeat (which I love!), corn on the cob and fresh, sweet cherries. I threw together just a few ingredients to make a crab salad, boiled the corn (which I love to over cook) and washed the cherries.
It took me over an hour and a half to eat two sandwiches, a corn on cob and some cherries...I was stuffed...and it was already 3:00 o'clock. So no nap for me. I blame it totally on my compulsive, systematic way of eating corn on the cob...one row at a time, one kernal at a time.
