May 7 - The Lone Flower

This is the lone flower that grows each year in the little 20" x 24" piece of earth next to our garage. I planted this gladiolus about 4 years ago. The first year yielded about 7 stems, but now we get only a mere lone gladiola stem. Pretty still.
